Every coach needs somewhere to think more deeply about their practice.
A session that didn’t quite land. A client relationship you’re unsure about. A pattern you keep noticing. Or simply the sense that there’s more to explore in the way you coach. Supervision gives you the space to step outside the session, reflect on what’s happening and develop your practice with the support of someone trained to help you see more clearly.
The more experienced you become, the easier it can be to rely on what you already know.
Supervision creates space to stay curious:
To explore what happened in a session
To notice what you might have missed
To challenge familiar patterns
It’s a confidential, supportive space to explore your coaching practice with someone who understands the work. You bring the questions, challenges and moments you want to examine. Together, you can look beneath what happened in the room and explore what might help you move forward.
The aim isn’t judgement. It’s greater awareness, stronger practice and more confidence in the choices you make as a coach.
Supervision gives you the opportunity to slow things down and explore what can be difficult to see while you’re in the middle of the work.
You might use supervision to:
Reflect on a challenging client or session
Explore something that felt unresolved
Eleanor has been my coach supervisor recently and I cannot recommend her highly enough! She has such warmth and wisdom, provides a nurturing space to delve more deeply into critical aspects of coaching practice as well as professional presence. Knowledgeable, astute, and superbly attuned, I’ve felt understood and fully seen as a person and as a coach. She always welcomes personal challenges and her questioning style is a perfect blend of both directive and non-directive styles, timed with mastery. I will certainly be continuing supervision with Eleanor and highly recommend her to any coach seeking high-quality supervision support.

Supervision with Eleanor
Supervision works best as a conversation between two capable practitioners. You bring your experience, your clients and your perspective. Your supervisor brings another perspective, professional supervision skills and the space to help you think more deeply. Together, you explore the work. So you can leave with greater clarity, a broader perspective and something useful to take back into your coaching.
For accredited and practising coaches, supervision is an important part of maintaining professional standards and continuing to develop. Because however experienced you become, coaching involves people, and people are complex. There will always be moments you don’t fully see in the room. Supervision creates a safe place to notice them, learn from them and make thoughtful decisions about what happens next.
It supports you. And it helps you protect the quality of the experience you create for your clients.

Supervision with Eleanor
You don’t need to wait until something has gone wrong to use supervision. It can simply be the place where you continue to question, reflect and grow. A space to keep developing your confidence, your awareness and the quality of the coaching you bring to every client. Not sure which option is right for you? Send us a message and we’ll help you find the right fit.
To consider what belongs to you, what belongs to the client and what might be happening between you
It isn’t about being told how to coach. It’s about continuing to develop how you coach.
Recognise your own patterns or responses
Think through ethical or professional questions
Strengthen your coaching approach
Deepen your understanding of what is happening beneath the surface
You don’t need to arrive with the answer. That’s what the space is for.
For Positive Psychology coaches
This is about how you’re actually using the work. Not what the model says. What you’re doing with it in the room. Where it lands. Where it doesn’t. What you’re missing.
